2011: A Growth Year for Corporate Dining Concepts

Corporate Dining Concepts, a privately held employee foodservice management provider, today disclosed that it ended 2011 with record growth.

Robert Shelby, president of Corporate Dining Concepts which started up in Michigan, said that “we are proud of the new business that was added last year. We are most pleased that, with the economic conditions as they are, we have grown approximately 35 percent for the year.”

He noted that the new business has been “a good balance in all segments of our company. The corporate foodservice division leads the way with new business in all four states we provide service in.” Those states are Michigan, Ohio, Mississippi and Alabama.

“Vending and office coffee grew dramatically in southeastern Michigan.”

Shelby said that Corporate Dining launched its vending operation in Alabama with the opening of a new office in Huntsville. The provider signed a major defense company contract which has significant vending as part of the contract.

Growth for 2012 is expected to be as robust as 2011. Shelby points out that several current clients are adding population and expanding employee services.

Corporate Dining has itself expanded to accommodate the extra business by adding support personnel in three of the four states.
