Corporate Dining Concepts, a privately held employee foodservice management provider, announces that it ended 2012 with a second consecutive year of record growth.
Robert Shelby, president of Corporate Dining with administrative offices in Rochester Hills, MI, said, “We are pleased that our entire team’s hard work has produced such wonderful results.” The company provides foodservice programs in Ohio, Alabama and Mississippi as well as Michigan.
Shelby states that “in 2012 the company grew in all regions. During the year we entered the ‘at-work’ micro-market segment which proved to be a great success. Our two southern offices have shown tremendous growth in both vending and employee cafes.
“It appears economic conditions have been improving overall. Our current clients are all adding population to their facilities.
“We are particularly proud to be a part of the resurgence in Michigan, the state that gave us our start.” Shelby says that he is optimistic for 2013 since Corporate Dining Concepts is opening two new contracts, both world headquarters, in Michigan. The first to open is on January 2, and the second will open on February 18.
During the year, Tracy Brooks, director of operations, launched the all-new “Go for the Green” Cuisine menu program. The program is a comprehensive Wellness plan in which, Brooks said, “It becomes easy for our customers to make responsible food selections in our onsite cafes.”
Brooks also noted that the program has been accepted in the workplace and will expand in 2013. “Our goal is to make it simple for customers to identify the ‘healthier’ items on the daily menu, if they so choose.”
The “Go for the Green” program will be expanded to the vending and micro-market segments of the business in the next few months.
